The Oregon Department of Justice Civil Rights Unit operates Oregon’s Sanctuary Promise program and hotline for community members to report suspected sanctuary law violations, and provide support for targeted individuals and their families. The program may open investigations on behalf of the state into the violating agency. This presentation covers what Oregon’s sanctuary laws do and do not say, as well as services and resources available to targeted individuals and their families.
